Ten or so Tips for Kicking Mega Ass in Mega Man 11

The Mega Man series has been known for being one of the original difficult franchises. Mario had a learning curve, Pacman was straightforward, but Mega Man was always a brutal experience. Over the years the franchise has gone through a few changes to make it a little more user-friendly but this has taken away from the beloved core mechanics of the game. Mega Man 11 scraps that and goes back to basics, delivering a nostalgia-riddled experience which also means that no-longer-familiar increased platforming difficulty has returned. So how do you get through the classically difficult experience? James Paley has you covered with ten or so tips on how to kick ass at Mega Man 11.

Mega Man 11 is the latest in the long-running franchise of fast-paced platforming action. The game is a return to form for the series with quick combat and lightning-fast reflexes to get through platforming sections, not to mention the return of over the top voice acting. The game – while dripping with nostalgia of the experience from twenty years ago – also has some modern adaptations including the new Double Gear feature which allows players to either slow time or increase their blaster power. There are also a number of modern features to make the game easier such as buying E tanks and a whole host of other upgrade parts.
