RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore Video Review
The classic isometric dungeon crawler is a genre that has waned over the years in favor of side-scrollers or open worlds. More and more it becomes difficult to find a game within this timeless style that can grab you and pull you in. RemiLore is one such game that not only provides a Diablo-esque experience, but one that is incredibly fresh and unique with its anime stylings and unexpectedly cute and charming content, despite being an intense and combat heavy experience. Curious what that means? Check out our video review below to learn more.
RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore is an isometric rogue-lite hack and slash adventure with unique and colorful anime stylings. Players will follow the tale of Remi, a young girl who meets a powerful book named Lore who claims to be a master of magic. Together, the two travel to a magical world where they must combine forces to overcome the robot-like monsters that threaten to overthrow the land. The game features a fast paced combat system reminiscent of the classic Diablo series, yet it is also littered with many anime tropes such as cute outfits for Remi and the games currency and materials comprised entirely of various desserts. RemiLore features both single player and multiplayer co-op options, however with the dialogue being voiced in Japanese during combat it can be easy to miss the finer details of the games narrative.
