Pretty much the only franchise keeping the lights on at Activision, Call of Duty is known for its constant output of new multiplayer experiences that pit players against each other in realistic gun battles spanning the globe. Call of Duty has cemented itself as a staple of online shooters and no entry in the series has been more iconic than Modern Warfare 2. Whether due to *ahem* THAT scene in the airport or simply the fact it had one of the most enticing narrative campaigns with exceptional gameplay, the news that it was being remastered was met with great fervor, yet not without its backlash for the decision to completely remove the multiplayer aspect which has made the franchise so endearing. There has been some controversy as to the decision to exclude the multiplayer aspect of the game, but this makes for the least controversial controversy the Call of Duty franchise has ever been met with!
