Luminous Productions were at the helm for the divisive Final Fantasy XV. While some loved the new direction for the series, others were disappointed with the new form of combat and the sheer volume of fetch quests. You play as Frey Holland, a New Yorker who finds herself in a strange, magical world. With magic abilities from a mystical cuff, you must cleanse the land from the vicious creatures who roam free. With the ability to zip across the land mass in an instant and combine an array of skills, Forspoken aims to be a new force in the action-RPG genre. Is this an essential title?
