F1 2019 is the twelfth Formula 1 racing game published and developed by Codemasters. The game has a plethora of things to do and a variety of modes to choose from, including the all new F2 career mode, the longstanding F1 career track and standard, single-race games. The decisions you make throughout the game, including how you choose to perform in races, your relationships with others and interviews with the press, all impact your career and can affect which teams you make it on to and the way others react to you. The amount of choices and objectives matched with the beauty and crispness of the game make this one of the best looking racers of all time. Though it can take getting used to for a new player, once you master the speed, gear shifts and tight turns, F1 2019 is one of the smoothest racers ever made. The controls and gameplay are easy enough to learn, and for one of the first times, the AI opponents actually behave more like regular people than robots proceeding down a track. They will cut you off and try to run you off the track, providing a real and refreshing challenge for single players.
One of the coolest new features in F1 2019 is the weather and lighting. More than just cosmetic backdrops, the weather can drastically impact gameplay and visibility, and no detail was overlooked in the sound design or look of things such as rain hitting the windshield or racing over wet concrete. Overall, we found F1 2019 to be a graphical masterpiece and one of the best racing games we’ve ever played. F1 2019 launches on June 28, 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
