Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Spec Ops Raw Gameplay
The now iconic first person shooter franchise has created something of an uphill battle for itself. Call of Duty has often set new benchmarks in online competitive shooters, but deciding to step back into the Modern Warfare moniker without a numerical addition – conjuring the notion of a soft reboot rather than a traditional sequel – has ruffled a few feathers as to the notion of the move. Now, CoD isn’t exactly known for shying away from these kind of things and the end result is almost always quite promising. With Modern Warfare just around the corner we thought it would be a good idea to prepare you for combat with this raw, unedited footage of the Spec Ops maps to try and give you every advantage over your opponents going forward. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the latest entry in the long running, iconic first person shooter franchise. Working towards a more gritty, realistic approach to war, the game will focus on tactical team-based combat and very serious moral choices. It has already made it into the new for being controversial (as the franchise is known for) with its grittier, darker tones and themes of war-time consequences for your actions. After Black Ops 4 had gone entirely multiplayer, Infinity Ward have confirmed that Modern Warfare will feature a strong, narrative-driven campaign with emotionally troubling moments coupled with the series signature style.
