Love/Hate – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer
The Call of Duty franchise is, of course, synonymous with the first-person shooter genre. While fans had mixed feelings on what appeared to be a soft reboot of the Modern Warfare series, their concerns were quickly set aside as the game features a number of great improvements and new features to make the game more accessible and interesting for new players. Infinity Ward has been on a mission to step up their games in the Call of Duty franchise and with each game they are constantly improving, but no game is without fault. Here are three things we love – and hate – about multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a soft reboot of the beloved series within the long-running first-person shooter franchise. Whereas Black Ops 4 focused almost exclusively on online multiplayer content, Modern Warfare decided to give the players what they want with a gritty single-player campaign that is heavily affected by the morality of your choices and actions. Players of course will find the iconic multiplayer still intact with a number of new game modes and features to try including night variants of each map with superb night-vision, extensive weapon customization, and a skill based 2v2 mode all about how well you can handle a gun without any perks.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more information check out the game’s official website, and be sure to see our full review of the game here.
