Game of the Year 2017 Awards – Best Exclusive Game

COGconnected’s Best of 2017 Awards – Best Exclusive Game

For a while it was hard to pick one console over the other simply because if a game launched for one it undoubtedly would launch for the other. There were a few exclusive properties here and there but for the most part the only one that was uniquely its own was Nintendo. As the years have passed and games have become more accessible, it still holds true today that most games are available across multiple platforms and therefore can make choosing a console difficult; that is of course until you see which console has which exclusive series.

Nintendo has always held its own properties closely, building massive and recognizable franchises like Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Star Fox and so many more. PlayStation has slowly amassed some of the greatest adventure and RPG exclusives you can find with titles like Crash Bandicoot, God of War, Uncharted… I could go on. Xbox was the latest developer to hit the scene, but that hasn’t stopped them from making a huge impact with their exclusive multiplayer and shooter series like Halo, Forza, Cuphead, and more. Each developer brings something unique to the table with their exclusive games, and it’s usually these titles which we hold the closest to our hearts.

Of course, there can only be one best exclusive title, so check out our video below and see who the COGconnected staff chose as the Best Exclusive of 2017.
