Erin Soares (Content Editor) – Black Ops 2
I’m sure many would disagree with me on this one, but Black Ops 2 is the best Call of Duty title of all time. The shift in the campaign to a futuresque setting is what made the story different and more exciting than ever before. The BO2 multiplayer and zombie modes alike cemented my love of the Call of Duty franchise and really balanced the game as a whole. Black Ops 2 stayed true to the COD franchise, whilst exploring innovative ideas for the gamers around the world.

Platinum Games made an M rated game for the Wii, didn’t you know? This game had three colors; black, white, and blood. The object is to rise in the ranks of the DeathWatch and take out the leaders…or something like that. I’m a bit hazy on the story but I do remember brutally beating people up while sporting a chainsaw for an arm and smashing them into a wall of spikes.

The Bioshock franchise is brilliant. I even think that Bioshock 2 had moments of brilliance. And while the original Bioshock will always have a place in my heart, it was Bioshock: Infinite that really put the whole Bioshock experience together with an amazing setting, story, soundtrack and chilling ending. I really hope Infinite isn’t the last we see of the Bioshock Collection – but if it is, it definitely ends the franchise on a sky-high note!
