OneOdio Monitor 60 Headphone ReviewÂ
When you’re really into audio, you want whatever you’re listening to be an experience. However, you also want comfort. The OneOdio Monitor 60 Headphones are the best of both worlds. These are pillows for your ears, that deliver great sound straight into them. They’re professional-looking, powerful, and feel great. If you’re really looking for some studio-quality headphones OneOdio has quite the collection to check out.Â
Professional and ComfortableÂ
As soon as you open the box for these headphones you’ll notice the size. They are pretty big for over-the-ear headphones. Of course, this makes sense. They are marketed as being ideal for audiophiles and DJ’s. However, the size doesn’t affect the feel of them. To my surprise, they are very lightweight and rest completely fine on my ears. In fact, they are extremely comfortable a result of the cushioning on the speaker parts of the headphones.Â
Not only are they comfortable but they look sleek, professional, and like something you’d see in a studio. The slide adjustment and swiveling speakers reflect a standard of build that does not leave them feeling fragile. The design of both of these also makes the headphones appear flexible and with comfort in mind. Additionally, the headphones come with three different types of cord, of various lengths, that can plug into either the left or right headphone. Though they each add a distinct style to the headphone, they are also quite long. Good for mobility in a room. Not good to carry with you on the go. These headphones are absolutely designed for listening to audio in a studio, from a computer, or other seated room.Â
The black and silver coloring is beautiful and professional. The size is reminiscent of classic headphones while the features and color scheme bring them into the modern age. The Monitor 60’s make you feel like you’re a producer, DJ, or radio editor. They feel great, look great in general, and furthermore, look fantastic even when not in use. Of course, they come with a stand to rest on when not in use that fits the aesthetic of the headphones. Despite the wires being maybe a little clumsy, the overall look of the headphones is fantastic. Â
However, these are headphones after all. If they don’t sound good, then it would be hard to say they are good headphones. Well, luckily for you audio-lovers out there. These things sound fantastic.Â
Big Headphones, Bigger SoundÂ
The Monitor 60’s deliver a great audio experience. Each layer of audio in a song is distinct without being overpowering. Listening, I could hear everything with no outside noises disrupting the experience. The headphones wrap you in a world of sound. I felt like, sonically, I could feel the music more. They are clear, powerful, and provide a comfortable listening experience. In searching for a flaw the only thing that really jumps at me is the lack of mobility. I’d love to be able to go for a walk or listen to these comfortably in the back seat of a car ride. However, the wires that come with the headphones are much to long and clumsy to comfortably be mobile. Yet, as far as headphones for studios, simply for listening to audio on your computer, or while sitting around in your room the Monitor 60’s are excellent for the price range.Â
The Monitor 60’s are sleek, simplistic, and professional looking with great sound. If you’re searching for a great set of headphones for audio editing, producing music, or just enjoying music, the OneOdio Monitor 60’s are a great choice. Especially at its price point, this is truly some high-quality gear.Â
