Top 5 Video Games Arriving in May 2018

Dark Souls Remastered – PC, PS4, X1 – May 25

When a game influences genres and terminology such as “Souls-like” or “the Dark Souls of… [insert genre]”, you know it has had an impact. Known for its challenging gameplay, interconnected brilliant world, and an ever-growing fanbase, Dark Souls is making its way to the PS4 and Xbox One (and later the Nintendo Switch) in the form of Dark Souls Remastered. While its original release saw some technical hiccups due to hardware limitations, those should be fixed by this generation and players should expect smoother gameplay.

Moonlighter – Switch, PC, PS4, X1 – May 29

Ever wonder what an NPC shopkeeper does when you’re not around? Or how about where they get their items? Wonder no more with Moonlighter, an action RPG with rogue-lite elements that puts you in the shoes of a shopkeeper who dreams of being a hero. With charming graphics and a fun premise, Moonlighter may be the indie darling of May 2018.

Detroit: Become Human – PS4 – May 25

And last, and most certainly not least, is perhaps the biggest game launching in May 2018, Detroit: Become Human. Developed by Quantic Dream, best known for Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls (free this month via PS Plus), Detroit: Become Human explores a future in which androids are a part of everyday life.
