Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – PC – May 8
While the original Pillars of Eternity finally came to consoles last year in the form of a Complete Edition, the sequel Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is set to release on PC in May 2018, and consoles later this year. This isometric RPG is a direct sequel to the original, so if you have yet to play the first, you still have a bit of time. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire looks to improve on the original in every way with its dynamic world, new companions, and a customizable boat stronghold among other improvements.
State of Decay 2 – PC, X1 – May 22
Everybody’s favorite zombie survival simulation game franchise is making its long-awaited return with State of Decay 2. While many zombie games have received critical acclaim over the years, few have captured the survival aspect one might expect during a zombie apocalypse. This time around, State of Decay 2 brings with it the highly requested cooperative play! We went hands-on with State of Decay 2 recently, and you can expect a preview coming soon.
