Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night – PC, PS4, Switch, X1 – June 18
As the spiritual successor to the Castlevania series, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has undertaken a long journey to its release, being helmed by former Lead Producer of the Castlevania series, Koji Igarashi. This Metroidvania-style (of course) game is presented in a “2.5D” style with 3D graphics but the gameplay in a 2D style. Gamers itching for that classic itch will be sure to find it with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Judgment – PS4 – June 25
If you love the Yakuza series, Judgment is going to be your thing. A spin-off of the Yakuza series, Judgment puts you in the role of Takayuki Yagami, a private detective investigating a serial murder case. The game takes place, of course, in Kamurocho, and features a very similar gameplay style to Yakuza 0. Contrasting from the Yakuza series, Judgment features an investigation mode that employs gameplay elements more akin to what you might expect from a private detective.
