The Top 5 Video Games Arriving in June 2023
June 2023 is a beast of a month for video game releases. Each of the top 3 games is a contender for biggest release of the year. There are a slew of retro remasters coming out this month. So instead of one honorable mention, we are going to highlight several of these classic titles, including Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection, We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective HD. Front Mission 2 Remake was also scheduled for release in June 2023, but was recently pushed back to Q3 2023. The Top 5 Video Games Arriving in June 2023 are:
5. F1 23 – June 16
F1 21 and 22 were fantastic racing sims. The series has done a great job of creating gorgeous, realistic, and fun racing. The features offered outside of the core gameplay have been a bit of a mixed bag, however. F1 23 promises to have a renewed focus on story mode. And F1 Life mode is transforming in F1 World mode, hopefully for the better. F1 23 will be available for everything except the Switch.
4. AEW: Fight Forever – June 29
AEW: Fight Forever has been in development almost as long as AEW has been a company. And it still isn’t the game we’ve known about the longest in The Top 5 Video Games Arriving in June 2023. It’s a wrestling video game that’s trying to be less like the WWE 2K wrestling sim series, and more like the arcade-y wrestling classics found on the N64. The launch roster looks a bit thin, but AEW: Fight Forever is promising lots of modes, and an evolving nature based on future DLC, and no need to buy a new game every year. It will be available for all consoles and PC.
