2. Colour Palettes
Bringing your Imaginator to life with color has truly never been easier. Whether selecting to color the entire body or a single body part at a time, Imaginators comes loaded with several dozen pre-designed color palettes from basic flat colors – like being Red head to toe – to a series of complimentary colors chosen artistically from the monochromatic colour wheel. These presets are given fun and memorable names as opposed to being numbered or a random string of letters that only professionals could understand. Each palette consists of five complimentary colors, but if you find yourself a perfectionist who thinks that emerald green ought to be a navy blue the palettes themselves can be edited to make sure your Imaginator looks exactly how you envision them.
1. Body Morphing
One of the biggest problems with character creation is that limitation to a standard humanoid body. Imaginators not only has hundreds of customizable parts to choose from, but the body itself can be morphed and shifted to suit your needs. Arms, legs, head, torso, and tail can all be resized as well as the overall muscle figure of the character. Although not present in my hands on experience, the positional orientation of the body parts will also be customizable. This means characters who are basically limbs on a torso or maybe don’t have traditional legs will also be available options for players to create, and the size limits can vary from Boomer all the way up to Giant class. Also worthy of note is that, despite the vast array of customizable parts and shifting size options, these creations never feel shoe-horned together. Everything is seamless, beautiful, and natural. You really get the sense you are developing your own organic Skylander.
These are just some of the fantastic options waiting for you in Skylanders Imaginators. Let us know what you think and what kind of creations you look forward to concocting on Facebook, Twitter, or the Comment section below.
