The Bad
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III began as an expansion to Modern Warfare II. Because of that, it has a very short campaign, and lots of reused multiplayer maps. But on top of those core problems, there’s an egregious lack of polish, with bad stealth sections, bland level design, and a sense of everything just being thrown together. It’s still Call of Duty, so it does have a base of excellent first-person shooter gameplay, but every other aspect is a fail. Our reviewer concluded “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is largely a disappointing, lazy effort borne out of desire to sell copies as opposed to pleasing a Call of Duty fanbase”. Disgusting.
RoboCop: Rogue City

RoboCop: Rogue City is a pretty high profile release. They even got Peter Weller to play RoboCop, a feat the RoboCop 3 movie couldn’t even achieve. It’s a first-person shooter with pretty fun gameplay, but, unfortunately, the story is weak. And several technical aspects feel archaic, including the character models and voice acting. The shitty cherry-on-top of all this is that there are tons of bugs, and lots of long loading screens. Our reviewer concluded “Much like RoboCop’s enemies, approach with caution”.
The Walking Dead: Destinies

The Walking Dead: Destinies has a really interesting premise, where the player can take iconic moments from the show, and change aspects to create “what if?” scenarios. But as our reviewer put it “Although the game claims to allow you to choose the path that Rick and Co. walk, your decisions barely make a difference”. Do we need to say anything more? A game ignoring its own premise is pretty bad crime. Add in some dated third person shooter gameplay and ugly visuals, and you’ve got a recipe for garbage.
