1 – P.T. – Kojima Productions
I know this was only a demo or described as a teaser to some, but this is the scariest game I’ve ever played. It is just too bad Konami pulled it from the PlayStation Network. It is quite easily one of the worst decisions Konami has made as P.T. became part of our gaming culture, and for good reason. It scared the bejeepers out of me.
I really don’t want to spoil it but just know that the events that take place as you play are generated by you. Your actions and what you look at determine the pacing and level of terror P.T. throws at you. This game will play tricks on you, and it will make you question that dark hallway in your house that just feels… off. The developers went with a first-person camera and it was a great choice, despite my usual preference for third person. The immersion this helps bring is just perfect. If you get a chance to play P.T. somehow, I’m sure you’ll be turning around to check out that noise behind you quite often.
