Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a futuristic open-world action-adventure that’s set in Night City, with many living here obsessed with beauty, body modification and power. You’ll get to customize your character as much as you see fit, including their skillset, playstyle and body mods. Be careful however, as the choices you make impact and shape the world around you. Though Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed, yet again, it’s set to officially be released on December 10th and it’s the most anticipated game of the year. With good reason too. It’s developed by the makers of Witcher 3, Plus, and it received 5 different awards at Gamescom 2020, including Best PC Game and Best of Gamescom. And did I mention it’s got Keanu Reeves? Yeah, this is definitely a must-buy for the holidays.

Star Wars: Squadrons

Star Wars: Squadrons is the latest Star Wars adventure from EA and Motive Studios, that puts players in the seats of their favorite starfighters from the movies. This experience is not only immersive but it brings a completely original story to your screen where players can explore both known and never before seen locations. Get ready for a single-player experience, available in VR (Oculus, HTC Vive, SteamVR) as well, that’s set to get the adrenaline pumping as you protect the galaxy in 5v5 dogfights. Our very own James had this to say about it, “Much like the ships you’re flying, this game is all business. The excess components and junk parts have been ripped right out, all so the flight n’ fight action runs as smoothly as possible…For those of you starving for a proper Star Wars flight combat game, this is exactly what you’ve been waiting for.”

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War

The newest in the Call of Duty Franchise, Black Ops: Cold War has arrived and it looks to improve upon some of the innovations made in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, like a much-needed ping system in multiplayer, whilst making the game feel very much Treyarch. Zombies is back in action, a new single-player campaign is ready to jump into, Warzone is still available to play and multiplayer is just as frenetic as ever. Sounds like a damn good time to me. Just be careful not to get sniped!

Immortals Fenyx Rising

Originally revealed by Ubisoft as Gods and Monsters Immortals Fenyx Rising is set to be released at the very beginning of December; just in time for the holidays. Taking inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild this open-world adventure lets you design your own hero with a slew of customization and weaponry available. You’re tasked with saving Gods from various enemies, completing a bunch of different puzzles and challenges and it all happens in a vibrant, colorful and extremely cute world centered around Greek Mythology. Sounds like a good time to me!
