COGconnected GOTY 2025 – Sexiest Character of the Year
Our annual COGconnected GOTY awards wouldn’t be complete without our spiciest category of them all, Sexiest Character. This category ponders which video game character brings just the right amount of sexiness to their game. Of course, that kind of visual eye-candy can be very subjective, which is why we had such a wide-range of contenders this year.
In 2024, our Sexiest Character winner was Eve (Stellar Blade), followed by Tifa (Final Fantasy VII Rebirth) and Kazuma Kiryu (Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth). In 2023, our Sexiest Character winner was Karlach (Baldur’s Gate 3), followed by Cammy (Street Fighter 6) and Black Cat (Spider-Man 2).
And with that, let’s see who are top 10 Sexiest Characters of 2025 are, beginning with number 10.
10 – David “Section” Mason (Call of Duty: Black Ops 7)
The David “Section” Masson, the Call of Duty: Black Ops alumni Alex Mason is back in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Mason leads JSOC team Spector One on a mind-bending journey involving Black Ops 2 villain Raul Menendez. But all is not as it may seem. David “Section” Mason is portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, This Is Us) who is quite the handsome devil himself.
9 – Chole “Karma” Lynch (Call of Duty: Black Ops 7)
Chloe “Karma” Lynch provides support to David Mason and Spector One in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. She’s also playable in multiplayer and an absolute delight to behold.
8 – Higgs (Death Stranding 2)
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach villain Higgs has got quite the look working for him. Shaved eyebrows, eye liner, fancy make-up. He might not be Sam’s cup of tea, but he has fans.
7 – Pauline (Mario Kart World)
Mario Kart World‘s resident vocalist Pauline clearly has a eye for style. Just look at her rocking the leather outfit! She makes podium finishes look good.
6 – Goro Majima (Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii)
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza includes the greatest treasure of them all, a pirate-version of Goro Majima. Sexy marks the spot!
5 – Malevola (Dispatch)
Former criminal, turned superhero, Dispatch‘s half-devil Malevola is a foxy addition to the Superhero Dispatch Network.
4 – Lara Croft (Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered)
The first lady of gaming hotness makes the top 10 again thanks to her remastered return in Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. I don’t have a crystal (dynamics) ball, but I’d wager to guess we’ll see Lara Croft return to this Sexiest Characters list in 2026 and 2027 with her pair of upcoming games.
3 – Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong Bananza)
Donkey Kong made a surprising return to a staring role with the release of Donkey Kong Bananza for Nintendo Switch 2. While he might only have an eye for bananas, we’ve all got a fond eye for him.
2 – Aphrodite (Hades 2)
Aphrodite returns to the underworld in Hades II. The Goddess of Love sure has some fine boons and is more than willing to share them with Melinoë.
1 – Lune (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33)
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is no stranger to winning awards in 2025, and so it only makes sense that it would factor into our Sexiest Character of 2025 list. As an Elemental Mage, she has the ability to control a variety of Elemental Stains such as Ice and Fire, but apparently, she can also has control over our hearts.
Honourable Mentions
This year had a bunch of sexy characters that didn’t quite make the top 10. Our honourable mentions for our 2025 Sexiest Character are C. Viper (Street Fighter 6: Year 3), Rhea Ripley (WWE 2K25), Jane (Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening), and Justine (Hotel Barcelona).
