System Shock
Being a remake and reboot of sorts to the original 1994 game of the same name, System Shock will keep it true to its predecessor while giving it the modern look and feel expected for the current generation. Keeping the original voice actors, System Shock seems to be maintaining its original immersive elements and beloved story. Look forward to System Shock releasing in 2018 returning fans and newbies alike!
Sea of Thieves
Who doesn’t want to be a pirate at sea? Rare’s Sea of Thieves is an upcoming action-adventure multiplayer game that’ll have you looking for hidden riches and treasure in a vast shared world. Choose your adventures and make your own choices that may result with a huge win or even bigger loss. Wild animals and exotic creatures await you and will do their best to foil your plans, but it’s your pirate skills that will get you to places.
The Last Night
Combining cinematography and the elements of a sci-fi thriller, The Last Night is set in a post-cyberpunk world full of vibrant colors and an eerie ambiance. With machinery surpassing human labor, humans are beyond survival, work, and the like but now live in an era of leisure. Now what humans are tasked with is a different type of issue – a purpose for living. As stated, “People now define themselves by what they consume, not what they create”.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night
As one of the greatest minds behind the Castlevania games, Koji Igarashi launched Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Kickstarter that became one of the most funded and most backed projects of all time. Being published by 505 Games, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has many eyes on it, and for good reason too. The art, voice acting, music, and gameplay all mirror those from classic Castlevania games that is sure to bring in returning fans and draw new players in as well.
Code Vein
The next Dark Souls-like game to be launched by Bandai Namco, Code Vein is set in the not too distant future of a post-apocalyptic world. In the center of all the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein where the remaining few fight to survive. Blessed with the gifts of power in exchange for their memories and thirst of blood, they risk their humanity as they slowly approach being a fiendish ghoul. But it’s all or nothing in this adventure as you unlock your past and try to escape the living nightmare.
