The Playroom VR
PlayStation owners will be familiar with The Playroom. Well, The Playroom VR takes it to the next level with virtual reality mini-games that encourage group interaction. One person wears the headset while others take part in the action with controllers. Calling itself “the first VR party game,” this one indeed looks like it will be really fun to play with the family or with friends at a party.
100 Ft. Robot Golf
It doesn’t get any crazier than 100 Ft. Golf, which Sony is saying will be available when the PlayStation VR launches. Also a PS4 title, it puts you in a giant, 100-foot robot’s shoes as you play a gigantic game of golf against other robots. You can run around downtown cityscapes, hitting huge drives, or just say “screw it” and wreck stuff. Awesome. It might be the first Godzilla game that actually doesn’t suck.
These are by no means the only launch titles you can expect when you pick up your PlayStation VR in October, but they are the ones that seem the most promising so far. How about you – will you be getting the PSVR? What games will you be buying first? Let us know!
