Survive the Frozen Wasteland in Fogpiercer
Hooded Horse and Mad Cookies Studio have officially launched Fogpiercer, a post-apocalyptic roguelite strategy game that blends deckbuilding mechanics with intense train-based combat. The game is now available on PC through Steam, GOG, the Microsoft Store, and PC Game Pass.

Set in a frozen world where survival depends on staying one step ahead of danger, Fogpiercer puts players in command of a heavily armed train traveling across a harsh winter wasteland. Every journey requires careful planning, from selecting the right train carriages to building an effective deck of action cards. These cards allow players to push enemies off the tracks, harpoon hostile forces, and unleash powerful attacks. They can even use the environment against them.
As players travel through branching routes, they will encounter dangerous bandits, cargo delivery missions, unique points of interest, and rival factions spread across two distinct biomes. Choosing the right path and making smart decisions can mean the difference between survival and defeat.
Each train driver also brings a unique set of abilities that can dramatically change how battles unfold. Players can summon ghostly allies and trigger devastating environmental hazards. Or even manipulate time to gain the upper hand in combat, adding plenty of variety to every run.
Fogpiercer also supports a wide range of languages, making the experience accessible to players around the world. The game is priced at $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99 / ¥1,980 and is included with PC Game Pass.
If you’re a fan of roguelites, strategy games, or deckbuilders with a unique twist, Fogpiercer looks like a promising new adventure worth checking out.
