Protect Your Wagon in Wild Woods
If you’ve been waiting to jump into Wild Woods, now might be the best time. Developer Octofox Games and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have launched a new update for the co-op adventure game, while also slashing its price by 67% during the latest Steam sale.
The biggest addition in the update is the Guardian, a brand-new character role that brings a tank-support playstyle to the game. The Guardian joins the existing Fighter, Healer, and Ranger classes, meaning every player in a four-person co-op team can now take on a unique role. This change gives each teammate a distinct responsibility, encouraging better teamwork and strategy during every run.
To celebrate the update, the developers have also released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the Guardian in action. The footage highlights the character’s ability to protect allies while supporting the team throughout battles.
In Wild Woods, players control a group of brave kittens traveling through a dangerous forest. During the day, the team gathers resources, upgrades its wagon, and prepares for the challenges ahead. When night falls, waves of woodland bandits attack, forcing players to work together to defend their moving home.
Wild Woods is currently available in Early Access on Steam, with console versions planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
