Decklings Releases This September With Creature Collection and Strategic Card Battles

Lead Your Amazing Decklings

Decklings, the upcoming survival deckbuilding game inspired by Stacklands, now has an official release date. Developer Barking Dogs Studio and publisher 2 Left Thumbs have confirmed that the game will launch on September 25, 2026, with a free public demo already available for players eager to try it ahead of release.

In Decklings, players collect and tame magical creatures known as Decklings while exploring a variety of biomes. These biomes are full of resources, secrets, and challenges. The game combines card-stacking mechanics with survival and base-building. This encourages players to carefully manage resources, automate their settlements, and expand their collection of creatures. As players progress, they can level up and evolve them, unlocking new abilities that help them tackle tougher regions and uncover hidden discoveries.

Combat also plays a major role in the adventure. Players can build teams of three Decklings and take on rival duelists in strategic 3v3 battles. Experimenting with different team combinations and synergies will be key to overcoming opponents, defeating powerful bosses, and collecting guild flags to climb the ranks toward becoming the ultimate Deckling Champion.

The current demo offers a solid preview of the full experience, featuring the Everwood Forest and Eerie Lake regions, 22 Decklings, six evolutions, 139 unique moves, 19 crafting recipes, five duelists, and one boss battle. Since launching on May 4, 2026, the demo has earned a 96% positive rating from 55 user reviews. Hence, highlighting strong early community reception.

With its blend of survival, deckbuilding, and creature collection, Decklings seems like an intriguing indie release worth keeping an eye on when it arrives this September.
