Looking for a new card game with a little more bite? Decklings has officially launched on Steam, throwing creature taming, survival management, exploration, and strategic 3v3 battles into one colorful package. Developed by Dark Lizard Games and published by 2 Left Thumbs, the game is now ready for players to start building their collection and chase the title of Deckling Champion.
Decklings puts a unique spin on the card-stacking formula popularized by Stacklands. Instead of simply building up a settlement, players must manage their time and resources while exploring dangerous new biomes, discovering magical creatures, and turning their growing collection into a powerful team.
Players can stack and combine cards to unlock new tracks and recipes, gather resources, cook meals, craft items, and develop their base. Wild Decklings can also be tamed and put to work, helping automate parts of the base. All while gaining experience, leveling up, and eventually evolving into stronger forms.
When it’s time to put those creatures to the test, Decklings shifts into strategic 3v3 deck-building combat. Players will need to carefully build their teams and make smart decisions to overcome challenging encounters. Every biome brings new cards, creatures, resources, and secrets to uncover, giving the adventure plenty of room to grow.
