New Missions Await in Star Trek: Voyager
Daedalic Entertainment and gameXcite have officially expanded the universe of Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown with the launch of the game’s Expansion Pass and its first story DLC, Delta Chronicles. Alongside the paid content, all players can also download the free Patch 1.8 update starting today. New players can jump into the adventure with the new Captain’s Collection, which bundles the base game, Deluxe Edition content, and the Expansion Pass.

The newly released Delta Chronicles DLC adds five side missions inspired by memorable Star Trek: Voyager episodes, including Distant Origin, The Omega Directive, Cold Fire, Homestead, and Inside Man. Just like the base game, these missions feature branching choices that let players shape events differently from the original TV series.
The DLC also introduces two new playable heroes: holographic Reginald Barclay and Professor Forra Gegen of the Voth, each bringing unique combat abilities. Players will also encounter four new NPC ships, including the massive Voth City Ship and a Ferengi Marauder that can become an ally, along with additional technologies to unlock.
Meanwhile, the free Patch 1.8 delivers seven new ship quests and events, UI improvements, balance adjustments, clearer tech tree descriptions, and several quality-of-life upgrades based on community feedback.
Looking ahead, the Expansion Pass will include three more premium DLCs, featuring additional story missions, the USS Equinox as a playable ship, new technologies, and a brand-new sector inspired by one of Voyager’s most iconic episodes. The developers also confirmed more free updates are on the way, including a major new game mode planned for later this year.
With both paid and free content arriving together, Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown is giving captains plenty of reasons to return to the Delta Quadrant.
