ANKH GAMES STUDIO has announced a limited-time Halloween discount for Emberwing: Skies of the Undead, bringing the dragon-flight action game down to US$6.99 on itch.io. That’s a 30% discount from its regular US$9.99 price, and the offer will remain available until November 4, 2026, at 18:00 UTC.
The game is currently in development and offers a Windows and Linux desktop release, with all assets bundled for offline play. Players take control of powerful dragons and soar above undead armies, using elemental breath attacks and charged special abilities to destroy necro spires and take on challenging bosses.
Emberwing features ten story chapters spread across two acts. Players can begin their journey with four dragons: Ignis, Glacira, Voltaris, and Umbra. Two additional dragons, Noxhar and Aurelion, become available through Act II. Beyond the main campaign, players can also test their skills through 12 Contracts, Skyfall survival mode, and Boss Rush challenges.
Those interested in trying the game first can access its free browser demo, which includes the First Flight introduction, the opening chapter, Ashenvale, and all four starting dragons. Completing the first chapter also unlocks a sample of Ashenvale Skyfall, featuring up to 10 waves.
While the current release is still a work in progress, the Halloween discount offers a cheaper way to experience its dragon-fighting action. If taking on undead armies from the skies sounds appealing, this might be a good time to give Emberwing a shot.
