Get Ready to Try Tides of Annihilation
Eclipse Glow Games has confirmed that Tides of Annihilation will make its first public hands-on appearance at gamescom 2026, giving attendees in Cologne an opportunity to experience the upcoming fantasy action-adventure before its release. Visitors can try the game from August 26 to August 30 at Hall 6, Booth B-050, where the development team will also be available to meet fans and share more details about the project.
This marks the first time players in Europe will get to go hands-on with Tides of Annihilation, stepping into the role of Gwendolyn as she journeys through a shattered version of modern London. To celebrate the announcement, Eclipse Glow Games has also released a new promotional video ahead of the event.
The studio also confirmed that Tides of Annihilation will appear during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 with a brand-new trailer, giving fans another look at the highly anticipated action-adventure.
Set in a world devastated by a mysterious Outworld invasion, the game follows Gwendolyn as she sets out to rescue her sister while uncovering the truth behind her newly awakened powers. Players will explore a ruined, fog-covered London alongside the mythical realm of Avalon, battling enemies and uncovering secrets that could decide the fate of reality.
Tides of Annihilation is currently in development for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
With its first playable demo arriving at gamescom and a fresh trailer on the way, Tides of Annihilation is shaping up to be one of the fantasy action games worth keeping an eye on during this year’s event.
