Business Is About to Boom in Arms Dealer
Koro Pixel Studio and Dark Product have officially opened playtest signups for Arms Dealer, an upcoming strategy trading simulation that challenges players to build a global black-market arms empire. Registrations begin today, and only a limited number of participants will be invited to test the game ahead of its full release.
To celebrate the announcement, the developers have also unveiled a brand-new playtest trailer, offering the first in-game look at Arms Dealer’s trading mechanics and showcasing how players buy and sell weapons while navigating a dangerous underground economy.
Unlike traditional war strategy games, Arms Dealer keeps players away from the battlefield. Instead, you step into the role of a shadowy arms trader who must grow a business from debt and ambition into a powerful international network. Success depends on making smart investments, monitoring market fluctuations, negotiating profitable deals, and surviving the constant pressure from loan sharks, corrupt officials, criminal gangs, and law enforcement.
The game encourages different playstyles, allowing players to become fast-moving opportunists who profit from market chaos, patient financiers who use debt to their advantage, or ambitious dealers chasing the biggest contracts available.
As your influence expands, so does the scale of your business. Players gradually unlock access to advanced military hardware, armored vehicles, unconventional weapons programs, and strategic technologies, all while facing increasing threats from authorities, rivals, and other powerful organizations eager to protect their own interests.
With its unique focus on economic strategy rather than combat, Arms Dealer is shaping up to be an intriguing addition to the strategy simulation genre. It’ll be interesting to see how players respond once the limited playtest gets underway.
