WheelJumper: The Art of Edging Is Planning to Release a Demo Next Month

Feel Your Adrenaline in WheelJumper: The Art of Edging

The indie game developer WayneMars is planning to release a demo for  WheelJumper: The Art of Edging next month, giving players an early chance to experience one of the most unusual sports games currently in development.

WheelJumper: The Art of Edging is a challenging physics-based roguelite centered on wheelchair ski jumping. Instead of relying on fast reflexes alone, the game puts a strong emphasis on precision, balance, and mastering its unpredictable physics. Every jump can make or break a run, rewarding players who learn to control their momentum while adapting to changing conditions.

Players will compete in tournaments across 18 different countries, where consistency is just as important as distance. Clean landings earn higher scores from judges, while even small mistakes can lead to spectacular crashes. Along the way, players will also have the chance to break hill records and work toward claiming the prestigious Happy Friendship Cup.

Adding a roguelite twist, each playthrough introduces items and contracts that modify abilities and influence your strategy. These evolving upgrades encourage experimentation and ensure that no two runs play out the same way, giving players new ways to tackle increasingly difficult competitions.

The developer is currently targeting a Q4 2026 release for the PC version via Steam. Before then, fans will be able to try the upcoming demo and get a firsthand look at the game’s unique blend of sports gameplay, roguelite progression, and demanding physics mechanics.

If you’re looking for a quirky sports title that offers a real challenge, this is one demo worth keeping an eye on next month.
