Circuit Shop Plans to Release Its First Demo Later This Year

Prepare to Open Your Oil Hotel in Circuit Shop

Indie developer RobotBobotGames is preparing to release a playable demo for its upcoming title Circuit Shop later this year on Steam. The official store page is already live, allowing players to wishlist the game and follow its progress as development continues. Those interested in a cozy, narrative-focused shopkeeping simulator can also watch the teaser trailer to catch an early glimpse of the story and atmosphere the game is building.

The story places players in the role of a small robot whose purpose has always been clear. From the moment it was created, its directive was to open a repair shop and give broken machines a second life. That long-awaited moment finally arrives after saving enough money to rent a modest workspace on the ground floor of the historic OIL Hotel. Inside this small workshop, every mechanism and device carries a story waiting for you to uncover.

Gameplay revolves around crafting and repairing through six different mini games that allow players to build unique parts and components. As the shop grows, they can decorate and upgrade their workplace with better tools and equipment, creating a more efficient workshop for handling increasingly complex orders.

Players will meet more than 20 story-driven characters, each with their own struggles, motivations, and personal histories. The choices made during these encounters shape the direction of their lives and influence the wider community around the shop.

Every decision carries weight. Players can help preserve the warmth and stability of the small city, or take actions that lead to its transformation and eventual rebuilding. The direction the story takes depends entirely on the path chosen. So, do you think you can make the best decision?
