Following its warmly received surprise launch on Steam earlier this month, Momento has officially made its way to consoles. Developer Fat Alien Cat and Nomo Studio, together with publisher Silver Lining Interactive, have released the cozy narrative decorating game on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, giving even more players a chance to experience its heartfelt story.
Unlike traditional decorating games that focus mainly on creating beautiful spaces, Momento blends interior design with emotional storytelling. As players move through different stages of the protagonist’s life, every item they choose to keep or display influences the story. These seemingly small decisions shape relationships, memories, and future events, resulting in multiple branching narrative paths and different endings.
The game also lets players witness the passage of time as rooms gradually transform from childhood bedrooms into adult living spaces, reflecting the protagonist’s personal journey. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Momento offers both Story Mode, which focuses on its emotional narrative, and Creative Mode, where players can decorate freely without affecting the storyline. Hidden puzzles scattered throughout the environment add another layer of exploration for those who enjoy discovering secrets.
Players can purchase Momento digitally now across consoles and PC, while physical editions are scheduled to launch on July 17 and are currently available for pre-order through selected retailers.
