Pixel Art Adventure Mousebusters Is Now Available on Switch and Xbox

Hunt the Ghosts in Mousebusters

Odencat Inc.’s charming pixel art adventure Mousebusters has officially made its way to consoles, with the game now available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox family systems. To celebrate the launch, players on both platforms can grab the game at a discounted price during its first week.

Blending spooky themes with adorable visuals, Mousebusters follows a protagonist who unexpectedly transforms into a mouse after moving into a mysterious apartment building. Guided by a cryptic mentor known only as the Chief, players set out to investigate haunted rooms. The goal is to help quirky residents and banish the evil spirits hiding throughout the complex.

Exploration plays a big role in the adventure, with each apartment offering interactive challenges, puzzles, and entertaining minigames. Players will also wield the Chief’s signature raygun during Exciting Exorcism Battles (EEBs). Here, timing and precision are key to cancelling enemy attacks while targeting their weak spots. Multiple difficulty settings ensure that even newcomers to action games can enjoy the experience.

Although Mousebusters first appeared on mobile devices, the console version introduces a range of improvements. The developers have redesigned the Maps and environments for widescreen play. The team even added brand-new minigames inspired by everyday mouse life. From preparing instant noodles and operating televisions to tackling rhythm games and puzzles, there’s plenty of fresh content to discover. Combat has also been refined for larger screens, and the game features an updated presentation alongside a newly rewritten translation packed with additional dialogue.

With its mix of lighthearted humor, spooky adventures, and polished new features, Mousebusters looks like a delightful indie title for players looking for a fun weekend adventure on consoles.
