Grab Your Friends and Get Cracking in CRACK
A giant egg, a mysterious laboratory, and a job that won’t finish itself. CRACK, the quirky co-op adventure from developer Rafoli, launched on Steam today, challenging players to crack open an enormous egg and discover what lies inside. Supporting one to four players, the game turns a seemingly simple task into an increasingly chaotic operation.
The unusual concept has already attracted plenty of attention. Just three weeks after Rafoli revealed the giant egg in a laboratory, CRACK crossed 120,000 wishlists in less than four weeks. Now, players can finally clock in and get cracking.
The gameplay revolves around a simple but addictive loop: crack the egg, earn money, and spend those earnings on better equipment. What begins with basic tools eventually grows into a full-blown demolition operation featuring automated robots, explosives, and scaffolding built around the massive shell. Playing with friends adds to the chaos as everyone works together to break through the egg.
But there’s more going on than smashing a giant shell. The laboratory hides secret doors, locked areas, and multiple endings, encouraging players to explore and piece together the mystery. Who brought them to the facility, and what exactly is waiting inside the egg? Those answers won’t come easily.
Rafoli has also built the game alongside its community, sharing development updates online that generated more than nine million impressions. Player feedback directly influenced the final release, including the addition of golf carts and explosives.
“I didn’t expect 120,000 people to care this much about an egg. Half the game’s best ideas came from comments under my videos, so this launch is theirs as much as mine. See you at work on the 26th.” – Rafoli, developer of CRACK
CRACK is available now on Steam for $7.99, with a 15% launch-week discount. Grab your tools, bring your friends, and get to work. That egg isn’t going to crack itself.
