Only Humans on Board Is Taking Part in the Steam Next Fest With a Demo

Never Serve the Non-Humans in Only Humans on Board

The upcoming horror simulation game, Only Humans On Board, is making an appearance at Steam Next Fest starting June 15, bringing with it a playable demo for curious players. Developed by NewGen Studio and published by PG Publishing, the game blends everyday routine with unsettling mystery, all within the confined space of a moving train.

In the game, players step into the role of a train vendor. They will handle a snack cart, restock supplies, serve passengers, and check identification. However, things quickly take a darker turn. Not every passenger is what they seem, and some are merely pretending to be human. Missing even the smallest inconsistency in their behavior or documents can lead to unexpected and often disturbing consequences.

As the experience unfolds, players unlock new licenses that introduce additional products, tools, weapons, and access to larger, crowded trains. Each journey presents fresh encounters, strange events, and hidden anomalies. Hence, gradually builds a tense and atmospheric experience inspired by observation-driven horror gameplay.

The Steam Next Fest demo will offer an early glimpse into the game’s core loop, combining resource management, passenger interaction, and investigative elements. The development team has also been actively refining the experience, incorporating player feedback, fixing issues, and adding new content.

Only Humans on Board is planned for an Early Access in Q3 2026. With its unique setting and creeping sense of unease, the game looks like something every horror game fan should keep an eye on.
