Ball & Gun Heads to Los Angeles Showcase Alongside Steam Early Access Debut

Another Win for Ball & Gun

Indie developer NVZN Studios and publisher ProGen Games have confirmed that they will showcase their viral sports-FPS roguelike Ball & Gun live in Los Angeles during Summer Game Fest week. The title has earned Official Selection status from the Media Indie Showcase and will appear at the MIX On-Site Showcase, hosted at the Grammy Museum on June 5, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM PT. The event coincides with the game’s highly anticipated PC launch via Steam Early Access on the same day.

Ball & Gun

The MIX On-Site Showcase is set to bring together media, creators, and industry professionals, offering a hands-on look at some of the most exciting indie titles of the year. Following a large digital presentation, this in-person event provides a focused environment where developers can directly connect with the community and highlight major milestones.

Ball & Gun throws players into a chaotic survival scenario known as the “Ballpocalypse,” blending fast-paced shooting mechanics with skill-based basketball gameplay. Players must balance the “Way of the Gun” and “Way of the Ball,” using a dynamic arsenal while landing precise jump shots to stay alive and progress. The game’s unique mix has already gained traction, attracting tens of thousands of players during its March 2026 alpha phase.

At launch, the game will feature both solo-friendly systems and asynchronous competitive brackets, alongside persistent progression and team-based Crew modes supporting up to five players.

With strong early momentum and a high-profile showcase debut, Ball & Gun is positioning itself as one of the more inventive indie releases of the year. Its official Early Access launch marks the next major step as it looks to build a lasting player community.
