Check Out the Launch Trailer of 007 First Light

IO Interactive, the studio behind the Hitman series, has teamed up with Amazon MGM Studios to reveal the official launch trailer for 007 First Light, offering a fresh take on the origin of the iconic spy, James Bond. The game arrives on May 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for later in Summer 2026. You can check out the official launch trailer below to get a glimpse of the action ahead.

This new interpretation follows a younger Bond, portrayed by Patrick Gibson, as he enters the world of espionage after a daring survival in Iceland catches the attention of MI6. Supported by M, played by Priyanga Burford, Bond begins his training under the strict eye of John Greenway, a former agent portrayed by Lennie James. The story quickly escalates when a rogue 009 emerges, sending Bond across dangerous global locations. And into conflict with the mysterious Bawma, played by Lenny Kravitz.

Gameplay in 007 First Light emphasizes player freedom. This allows them to approach missions through stealth, direct combat, or a blend of both. IO Interactive’s design focuses on creativity, giving players multiple ways to tackle objectives. Beyond the campaign, the Tactical Simulation mode adds replay value with challenge-based missions. It also features unlockable progression inside a secret MI6 facility.

With launch just days away, anticipation is building for what promises to be a cinematic and flexible spy experience. 007 First Light aims to deliver both a compelling origin story and gameplay depth, making it one of the most intriguing releases of the year.
