The Walking Dead Are Coming
You know the franchise. You know the settings. Of course, you are well aware of the characters. Now, it is going to be up to you to take on the role of survivor and outlast the dead. Today, Ares Interactive and AMC Global Media announced pre-registration is open now for their free-to-play roguelite game, The Walking Dead: Aftermath. The game invites players to the harrowing world of the hit franchise. Importantly, each run will be different and full of dangers. A press release provides more details on the game.
The Walking Dead: Aftermath is thrusting players into the iconic world of the show. Importantly, players will lead characters like Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne on a quest for survival. Interestingly, players will collect characters, build their base camp, and further character bonds as they aim to survive this hellish world. However, leaving the camp will pose many dangers. A necessary evil, leaving the camp will ensure players can gather the supplies they need for the long-term survival of their encampment. Yet, outside the camp are hostile human factions, boss encounters, and of course, the undead.
Players who pre-register for the game will get a rare piece of gear. Additionally, players will get T-Dog added to their roster and more resources.
Importantly, pre registrations for The Walking Dead: Aftermath are available starting today. The game will be available on the App Store and Google Play with other platforms to be announced later.
