Quill Returns in Moss: The Forgotten Relic, Arriving on PC and Consoles This Summer

Embark On an Epic Fantasy Adventure in Moss: The Forgotten Relic

Polyarc has officially unveiled Moss: The Forgotten Relic, a brand-new entry in its award-winning indie adventure series, arriving this summer on PC and consoles. The studio shared the news alongside a teaser trailer, announcing releases on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch platforms.

Set inside a richly detailed storybook world, Moss: The Forgotten Relic continues the journey of Quill, a courageous young mouse who longs for something greater beyond her home. The game blends exploration, environmental puzzles, and combat while placing a strong focus on storytelling. Players once again take on the role of the “Reader,” directly interacting with the world as they guide Quill through her adventure.

The trailer showcases the game’s “Twofold” gameplay system, which lets players control Quill while also manipulating the environment around her. This dual interaction creates a more immersive and layered experience. Polyarc has also upgraded the presentation with newly designed cutscenes, improved camera systems, and enhanced visuals built for modern platforms.

With more than 160 awards and nominations, the Moss franchise has established itself as one of the most celebrated indie adventure series. The Forgotten Relic brings Quill’s saga together in a seamless and refined experience, now expanded for a broader audience across multiple platforms.

“Our team has a deeply personal connection with the world and characters of Moss,” said Danny Bulla, Co-Founder and Design Director at Polyarc. “With The Forgotten Relic, we’re excited to invite players into Quill’s journey to share the wonder, mystery, and heart at the center of Moss.”

Overall, Moss: The Forgotten Relic builds on the series’ strengths with a more polished presentation while preserving the charm and emotional storytelling that define the franchise. More details will be revealed during IGN Live in early June, so make sure to keep an eye out.
