Step Inside the Dark Fantasy World of Dragon Is Dead
TeamSuneat and PM Studios have officially launched their dark fantasy hack-and-slash roguelite title Dragon is Dead on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, bringing the game to consoles after its initial release on Steam. The new launch expands access to a wider audience, offering players a fast-paced combat experience set in a grim and ever-changing world.
At its core, Dragon is Dead delivers an intense slash-driven gameplay with deep character customization. Players can choose from multiple classes, including the spell-wielding Spellblade, the high-damage Berserker, and the precision-focused Hunter. Each class comes with its own skill tree, allowing for flexible builds through rune slots and gear progression. As players push forward, they can hunt for powerful Legendary and Mythic loot while battling through corrupted environments that shift with each run.
The recently introduced Rift update adds a challenging endgame mode designed for players seeking mastery. After completing Adventure difficulty, players unlock the Rift through the NPC Andes at the Source of Succession. This mode features ten escalating waves across multiple maps, where quick decisions around Artifacts and items play a key role in survival. Successful runs reward exclusive gems that enhance high-tier gear, while seasonal leaderboards encourage competitive play and optimized builds.
Additionally, physical editions of the game are set to arrive on July 14, with regional bonuses such as posters and collectible items adding extra appeal.
With its console debut and new endgame content, Dragon is Dead continues to expand its dark, action-driven experience. The game now stands as a solid option for fans of challenging hack-and-slash adventures.
