Kenshiro Will Enter the Fight in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
Fans of classic anime and fighting games have something exciting to look forward to, as Kenshiro is officially stepping into the arena of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The legendary martial artist, widely recognized for the iconic line “Omae wa mou shindeiru,” has been confirmed as an upcoming playable character.
Developer SNK Corporation announced that Kenshiro will join the roster as part of Season Pass 2. He will arrive this June as the sixth DLC fighter, continuing the game’s steady stream of post-launch content. The roadmap also includes Wolfgang Krauser in April, followed by another yet-to-be-revealed fighter in May.
Kenshiro’s arrival introduces a distinct shift in tone to South Town’s fast-paced battles. As the master of the deadly Hokuto Shinken technique, his combat style will combine precision with devastating power. His inclusion also raises interest in how his signature moves and intense presence will blend with the game’s technical and high-speed fighting system.
The team revealed the crossover during AnimeJapan 2026, one of the world’s largest celebrations of anime and manga. Kenshiro originates from Fist of the North Star, created by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. The series follows his journey through a brutal post-apocalyptic world, cementing his legacy as one of anime’s most iconic heroes.
Players can access Kenshiro through Season Pass 2, priced at $19.99. There is also a Legend Edition, which includes both Season Passes and is available for $49.99.
