Mr. Karate Joins FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves on May 27 as Season 2 DLC Fighter

The Legendary Boss Is Finally Coming to FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves

The anticipation is about to be over. Today, SNK CORPORATION has confirmed that Mr. Karate will arrive as the fifth DLC fighter in Season Pass 2 for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves on May 27, expanding the roster with one of its most iconic masked warriors.

The character first appeared in Art of Fighting as a brutal final boss, where players eventually learned that Takuma Sakazaki, founder of Kyokugen Karate, stood behind the mask. Over time, the identity evolved as Ryo Sakazaki also stepped into the role, turning Mr. Karate into a legacy rather than a single man. This latest version continues that legacy while introducing a fresh personality and presence.

In the game, Mr. Karate is portrayed as a powerful and highly refined martial artist whose skills surpass even current Kyokugen master Marco Rodrigues. His story content expands across both Arcade Mode and Episodes of South Town, where players follow his journey in search of stronger opponents and the limits of his own strength.

Season Pass 2 is available for players who already own the base game, while new players can opt for the Legend Edition, which bundles both Season Passes. Meanwhile, the base game and earlier content are now available at reduced prices, making it easier to jump in.

With Mr. Karate’s arrival, SNK continues to build momentum for the game’s post-launch content, blending nostalgia with new energy. This update not only honors the series’ roots but also keeps the competitive scene fresh and exciting.
