Become Park Rangers in Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator
Prepare yourself to step into the boots of a park ranger when Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator launches in Early Access on March 10, 2026, via Steam and the Epic Games Store. To celebrate the announcement, publisher astragon Entertainment and developer To-Go Games, part of GRIP Studios, have released a new trailer that offers a first look at life inside the scenic Faremont National Park.
In Ranger’s Path, players take on the role of a U.S. park ranger responsible for protecting the park’s wildlife, natural landmarks, and ecosystems while ensuring visitors enjoy a safe and memorable experience. Daily duties include maintaining hiking trails and campsites, clearing fallen trees and debris, installing signs, and keeping public areas clean. Rangers also interact directly with visitors by checking tickets, camping permits, and fishing licenses. As well as answering questions about wildlife and guiding hikers toward suitable trails.
Beyond routine tasks, the game features structured missions that add variety and purpose. Players may search for missing hikers, repair storm-damaged infrastructure, or respond to other park emergencies. Completing these missions unlocks new regions of the park, introduces additional visitor types, and expands the range of flora and fauna encountered throughout Faremont.
Exploration plays a central role in the experience. Sweeping valleys, towering sequoias, dense forests, and rugged mountain landscapes create a tranquil yet immersive environment. Subtle moments like spotting a deer at dawn along a riverbank reinforce the sense of living within a natural world.
The Early Access version will launch with a robust feature set, offering hours of gameplay from day one. Ongoing free updates will introduce new tools, activities, and wildlife, with community feedback helping guide the game’s future development.
