Get Ready to Step Into the World of Code Vein II
Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has unveiled a new walkthrough trailer for Code Vein II alongside details for an upcoming Character Creator Demo. The demo will be available on January 22 on Steam, followed by January 23 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., CODE VEIN II is set to launch worldwide on January 30, 2026. The pre-orders are now open across all platforms.
The newly released trailer places the spotlight on Revenant Josée Anjou and takes players 100 years into the past. In this earlier era, the Revenant Hunter teams up with Josée to investigate the crisis surrounding the Sunken City. Her journey is full of regret and responsibility, gradually revealing the emotional weight she carries. The trailer introduces the Sunken Pylon, a massive dungeon that plays a central role in the effort to purify the city and uncover the truth behind its downfall.
Combat footage highlights seven distinct weapon types, ranging from fast dual blades to the heavy striking halberd. The video also showcases the Partner System, including the Restorative Offering mechanic. This feature allows companions to revive the fallen Revenant Hunter at the cost of temporarily leaving themselves unable to fight.
Ahead of release, players can explore the game’s extensive customization tools through the Character Creator Demo. With 64 save slots that carry over to the full game, players can fine-tune body type, facial features, hairstyles, accessories, makeup, and more. The demo also includes access to the MagMell Institute hot spring for lighting previews, along with Photo Mode for capturing finished designs.
