LAG KILLS Is Currently Under Development for PC

Real Terror and Tension Awaits in LAG KILLS

Indie developer Deranged Games, alongside publisher Zemore Indie Gaming, has announced LAG KILLS, a new single-player survival horror game currently in development for PC, with online co op support planned to arrive soon. Built around tension, stealth, and split-second decision making, the game drops players into a situation where a simple break-in turns into a terrifying fight for survival.

LAG KILLS follows a desperate protagonist whose life is upended after a serious car accident leaves them drowning in medical debt. With few options left, they and a trusted friend decide to break into a house that appears abandoned, hoping to steal enough valuables to stay afloat. The plan quickly collapses when it becomes clear the house is not empty. The owner is still inside, watching, listening, and hunting.

Players must carefully loot rooms, hide in the shadows, and move quietly to avoid detection while searching for a way out. Survival depends on patience and awareness, as every noise or misstep can draw deadly attention. The game features unpredictable AI behavior, ensuring that each encounter never plays out the same way twice. This keeps the tension high and reinforces the game’s psychological cat-and-mouse design.

You can enjoy the game solo, and the online co-op will also arrive shortly to face the horror together with your friend. According to solo developer Lee Burton, the idea came from a late-night gaming session filled with lag and frustration, which sparked the unsettling thought of someone breaking into his home at the worst possible moment. That spark became LAG KILLS, a deeply personal and unnerving horror experience from Deranged Games.
