Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Teases Its Upcoming DLC
Bandai Namco Entertainment has shared a fresh producer video for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, giving fans a closer look at the upcoming Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC. The expansion launches on July 30, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, alongside a free update that introduces new battle mechanics for every player. The game is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.
In the latest video, producer Jun Furutani showcases the DLC’s biggest additions, including the brand-new Limit Breaker Journey solo mode. This mode lets players take their favorite fighter and build them into a unique character through battles, events, and upgrades. Players travel across a map, balancing stamina management with tougher encounters that reward more experience. As characters grow stronger, players can invest points into six different attributes, and those upgraded stats can also be used in Player Matches and Offline Battles.
The Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC also expands the roster with 33 new playable characters from DRAGON BALL, DRAGON BALL Z, DRAGON BALL SUPER, and DRAGON BALL GT. Players can also look forward to four new Episode Battles, additional Extra Battles, and four brand-new stages.
Meanwhile, the free update introduces two new combat mechanics. Sparking! Boost delivers a powerful offensive burst at the cost of temporary stat reductions afterward, while Chain Blast allows players to tag in a teammate and extend combos with devastating Blast attacks. The update also adds three new variations of existing stages.
With a huge roster expansion, fresh gameplay systems, and new content to explore, Super Limit-Breaking NEO looks set to give DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO players plenty of reasons to jump back into the arena later this month.
