Bug Alliance, a brutal pixel-action RPG from independent studio Ent-Re Games, will arrive on Steam Early Access in 2025. A free downloadable demo is already available on the platform. The game plunges players into a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has perished after a meteor strike. This leaves nature’s fate in the hands of warring insect factions.
At the heart of the conflict are the tyrannical Worm Empire, ruled by King Glutton, and the valiant Bugs, who rally under their Queens to protect what remains of their world. Years of defeat and enslavement push the Bugs to form the covert “Requiem Society,” a movement determined to unite their kind and reclaim freedom.
Bug Alliance offers multiple ways to experience its gritty universe. Onslaught mode pits players against relentless waves of enemies and powerful bosses, while collecting essences and evolving their warriors. Resistance mode brings a tactical tower-defense twist, where defending mining stations and managing resources are key to survival. The upcoming Expedition mode promises a roguelike adventure across shifting battlefields.
