Survive Dark Hours With Your Friends
Piece of Cake Studios has revealed that its co-op survival horror game, Dark Hours, will officially leave early access and launch version 1.0 on Steam this fall. Designed for one to four players, the game mixes the tension of a high-stakes heist with a terrifying supernatural twist, creating a blend of strategy, teamwork, and horror.
To mark the milestone, Piece of Cake Studios has released a new trailer showcasing one of the most requested features: a competitive PvP mode. This fresh addition shifts the dynamic from cooperation to rivalry. In this mode, two teams of burglars race against one another to secure their objective first. And they must do so all while avoiding roaming monsters. The twist lies in the ability to manipulate the environment, as players can set traps, sabotage rival progress, and even direct supernatural forces toward the opposing team. Victory belongs to the cleverest crew, whether through speed, strategy, or sabotage.
In Dark Hours, players take on the role of thieves infiltrating haunted locations for a daring score. But once the break-in is interrupted by a supernatural presence, the mission changes instantly. Locked inside with a malevolent entity, survival becomes the only objective. Working together, players must explore, gather resources, and search for a way out before the entity claims them.
The upcoming launch promises both cooperative and competitive thrills, expanding Dark Hours into a versatile horror experience for different playstyles. Exact details on the release date and further updates on the PvP mode will be shared soon through the game’s official channels and its Steam page. For now, players can get a taste of what is to come in the latest trailer.
