Dark Hours Brings Its Full Horror Experience on PC Today

The highly anticipated co-op horror heist game, Dark Hours, from independent developer Piece of Cake Studios, has officially launched on Steam and the Epic Games Store for $14.99. Designed for 1-4 players, the game combines high-stakes thievery with supernatural terror, delivering a tense and unpredictable multiplayer experience.

In the game, players take on the roles of thieves attempting daring heists inside haunted locations. Only for their plans to be thrown into chaos by a malevolent entity. The mission quickly shifts from stealing valuables to surviving the horrors that lurk around every corner. Cooperation and strategy become essential as players explore the environment and work together to overcome obstacles and escape.

To commemorate the launch, Piece of Cake Studios released a Launch Gameplay Trailer. It offers a glimpse of the chilling scenarios players will face. Developed with extensive feedback from its Early Access community, Dark Hours debuts in version 1.0 with a host of new content, including additional monsters, items, and unexpected encounters. The game features eight unique enemies, each with distinct abilities and weaknesses, across five diverse environments. Players can experiment with over fifty gadgets and heist tools, ensuring that no two runs feel the same.

In addition to the gameplay trailer, the studio has also unveiled a Cinematic Launch Trailer, highlighting the eerie atmosphere and escalating tension that define the game. From haunted mansions to shadow-filled corridors, each heist presents unpredictable challenges, keeping players on edge throughout.
