Fight as Warriors in Heroes of Mount Dragon
Quebec-based indie studio RuniQ and indie.io have officially released Heroes of Mount Dragon, now available exclusively on Steam. Built by industry veterans who have worked on titles like Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Call of Duty, this side-scrolling brawler combines hand-drawn 2D art with 3D environments for a visually bold experience.
Set in the mystical world of Üna, players take on the role of Dragon Souls. They are warriors who bond with ancient dragon eggs to unlock powerful new forms. Each of the four heroes available at launch brings a unique fighting style and the ability to morph into a dragon mid-battle. Combat emphasizes fluidity and flair, encouraging players to chain combos, land aerial finishers, and adapt tactics on the fly.
Power-ups and mid-fight curses add unpredictability, pushing players to experiment with different strategies. Whether you favor brute force, elemental precision, or agile dodging, each hero dragon combo offers a distinct approach to battle.
Heroes of Mount Dragon supports up to four players in both local and online multiplayer, with co-op boss fights and competitive brawls. Dynamic stages, hazards, and character matchups keep matches intense and varied. Four more heroes are planned for post-launch updates, expanding the game’s strategic depth.
The game is available in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Korean, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
